When I’m trying to limit my carbohydrate intake, I get bored really fast with the same old ground beef and chicken. Thank God for Middle Eastern spices and Kafta Kabobs.

These little dudes are so GD delicious. here’s the recipe from allrecipes.com.
4 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon kosher salt
1 pound ground lamb
3 tablespoons grated onion
3 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 tablespoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon ground allspice
1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
28 bamboo skewers, soaked in water for 30 minutes
It’s really as easy as adding all the spices to your meat in a bowl, mixing it all together, forming 2 inch tubes of meat ( doesn’t that sound appetizing!), and spearing them with the soaked skewers. I left my grill on medium to high heat and cooked for 5 minutes on each side.
I hope this breaks the usual cycle of boredom associated with low carb eating.
