If you’ve never been to Arkansas, there’s good reason. I’m going to leave the low hanging jokes out of this and say, it’s just hard to get there. I had to fly into Memphis and drive 2.5 hrs. I use food to feel better about my challenging trips and this time around I made my way to Corky’s in Memphis before making the drive.
Bad idea bro. Total food coma. Energy drinks, bad idea at 830p. Sunflower seeds for days and all over the rental. Weird, they blow back in when you spit shells out of the window. I got some looks when I dropped this thing off.
Crossfit Little Rock
Feeling just a little food guilt and having some time post meeting, I dropped in at Crossfit Little Rock.
After competing in a 2 day competition over the weekend, I was pleasantly surprised to find this workout:
On a sleepy, overcast day in LR, I was joined by only one other member for this class. I was coached by Chad and i have to say: I love dropping in to new places because I generally get great coaching and pick up new tips. Chad’s coaching was no different. I picked up some good pointers on improving my hand stands as well as my rowing form.
All in all, a good experience. Look them up if you’re in town!
